EVENT VIDEO FOR HKFYG (PACKAGE E)

The "Hong Kong GreenMech Contest" organized by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups was held at the Hong Kong Science Park, where more than 100 students from over 40 secondary and primary schools formed teams to compete in the "Building Block Maker Cup" and the "Mechanism Integration Contest." The participating teams integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) knowledge to build, test, and present unique mechanical devices on the spot. The "Hong Kong GreenMech Contest" is an activity aimed at cultivating young people's understanding and application of scientific principles, renewable energy, and mechanical design. Participating teams must design and build mechanism components by hand, exercise creative thinking, and integrate STEM concepts into their challenge designs, learning systematic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. To date the contest has attracted over 1,900 students from 134 secondary and primary schools and education centres.
